In the heart of Ottawa’s Chinatown, St Luke’s is a small and dynamic, urban and inclusive, historic and growing parish of the Anglican Church of Canada.
We have two principal celebrations on Sundays filled with reverence and beauty in which we gather around the Table:
10 am: Choral Eucharist with Sunday School and Nursery
3:30 pm: Contemplative Eucharist: Word * Sacrament * Silence
Our Lunch Club has been an outreach of St Luke’s Anglican Church since 1983 as a support service for the disadvantaged. Open five days a week, our Day Program provides much-needed community services.
St Luke’s is one of the few permanent indoor labyrinths in the Ottawa region. We share this beautiful space by hosting public guided labyrinth walks from 7 to 9 pm, the first Friday of the month, from September through June.
The weekly Centering Prayer group at St Luke’s is open to everyone and meets on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm.
Our Recital Series hosts a classical music performance featuring the work of emerging and established Ottawa musicians every second Sunday, September through May.
Please explore our web site to find out about other community events, spiritual offerings, and resources that support the contemplative life and compassionate action.
Come, come, whoever you are.
Wanderer, worshipper, lover of leaving;
ours is not a caravan of despair.
Come, even if you have broken your vow a thousand times.
Come yet again, Come.
– Mevlana Jalal’udin Rumi
